Marisa Vallbona, APR, Fellow PRSA, knew she was made for PR when she was 12 and fried an egg on the sidewalk on a super hot Texas day. It was the perfect weather story so she called TV news crews to come out and cover it. That's all it took for her to get hooked and her career was born. Since then, she's gotten local, regional and national media exposure for just about everything. If it's newsworthy, she can get it in the news. A seasoned strategist with an eye for her clients' bottom line, Marisa has worked with top businesses, health care providers, retailers, individuals, major brands and authors on strategic communications, community relations, new product launches, special events, radio promotions and business strategy. She is the co-founder of PRConsultants Group Inc., a national network of PR firms with offices in every major market and Puerto Rico and is the Southern California regional member of the organization. Marisa is accredited in public relations by the Universal Accreditation Board. She also has been inducted into the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) College of Fellows – a prestigious distinction awarded to a very small percentage of PR practitioners. She has won four Silver Anvil awards from PRSA (the Oscars of the PR industry) and a Silver Anvil Best of Show. San Diego Business Journal named her "Women Who Mean Business" in PR and she's won countless other awards. Her work is showcased in PR textbooks and she's been featured in business books, national business magazines and she's frequently quoted in the media. She serves on the national board of PRSA, as well as the board of directors of the San Diego Ad Club. She is also the ethics officer for the San Diego / Imperial Counties chapter of PRSA and serves as professional advisor to the PRSSA chapter at San Diego State University. Marisa was graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in journalism/public relations and minors in Spanish and French. She also attended L'Université de Dijon in France where she studied intensive French language, translation, culture and history. She speaks Spanish and French fluently. Lindsey Isham

Lindsey Isham is an account coordinator at CIM Incorporated, bringing extensive experience managing public relations, personally and professionally. Lindsey was introduced to the world of PR when she published her first book, No Sex In The City - One Virgin's Confessions of Love, Lust, Dating, and Waiting. Seeking national recognition without the support of a marketing budget from her publisher, she quickly learned the art of self promotion. After a month of issuing press releases and a few pitches, she launched a five-month tour across the U.S., including TV & Radio interviews in more than 20 cities, dozens of published articles, various speaking engagements, conferences, and book signings. Lindsey has 13 years of public speaking experience and is a TV and Radio personality. In 2009, her book was nominated for Book of the Year by Foreword Magazine, and in 2011 she was honored at the University of San Diego’s 2011 Women’s History Month. While working on her book tour, Lindsey began working as a PR coordinator for a non-profit organization to train and coach a team of PR volunteers in the areas of PR protocol and strategies, the use of social media in marketing campaigns, writing and issuing press releases, hosting government officials and dignitaries, and interviewing with the media. When Lindsey isn’t working in the PR world, she volunteers her time helping singles across the world by teaching and mentoring them about how to have healthy, lasting, romantic relationships. Lindsey graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in communication and ethnic studies. She was also a collegiate golfer.
