Lisa Vega has been addicted to pop culture for as long as she can remember. Growing up in Los Angeles, Lisa was exposed to the latest trends in music and fashion, inspired by the spirit and energy pulsating from the famed Sunset strip in Hollywood. So it’s no wonder that when looking for an internship to finish her Anthropology degree, she decided to do something fun and applied at Capitol Records home to many of her favorite bands. She immediately traded her anthropology books for Billboard Magazine and embarked on a career that fanned her passion for music and the trends that are born when music, lifestyle and pop culture collide.

Over the last 20 years, as a seasoned strategist Lisa’s imaginative campaigns and ability to track trends are well known in the industry, earning her a place on many a superstar’s “dream team.” She has worked closely with pop culture’s most influential icons. From rock superstars (David Bowie, The Eagles, Frank Sinatra, Fleetwood Mac, Duran Duran, Steven VanZandt ) to this generations most important rock festivals (Lollapalooza, Ozzfest) to admired consumer products (Rolling Stone Magazine, US Magazine, Rolling Rock Beer) to high profile charity events (Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation Benefit, Frank Sinatra Celebrity Golf Tournament, and USA For Africa) – Lisa has brought her extensive background in communications and brand imaging to every project.

Lisa was responsible for creating the “Osbourne” phenomenon via a strategic campaign that transformed Ozzy from rock ‘n’ roll madman to lovable family man, thus initiating the media frenzy that established the Osbournes as cultural icons. She carefully crafted a branding strategy that saw the Osbournes move beyond the successful MTV show to gain mass appeal resulting in mainstream advertising and sponsorship deals.

Although her primary emphasis has been on entertainment, Lisa has brought her unique perspective to the corporate / lifestyle arena via her association with InBev USA where she worked on the team responsible for the product launch of Brazil’s Brahma beer, developing national branding/lifestyle communication / marketing campaigns and special events that led to a heightened profile for InBev USA and Brahma Beer. Also for InBev USA, she was responsible for developing marketing communications initiatives to re-introduce Beck’s to consumers. Most recently she handled the publicity for the music business association NARM (National Association of Recording Merchandisers) Gala Event where she was responsible for organizing the Red Carpet event and securing local and national media coverage.

On her off time, Lisa can be found studying medieval history and Arthurian legends while traveling the English countryside. She hopes to someday walk the ancient Camino de Compostela in Spain…but in the meantime she’s content to walk her beloved Rat Terrier Oliver around the neighborhood.
